Officer Hospitalized after Fort Worth Car Crash near West Freeway and Montgomery Street
Fort Worth, Texas (March 3, 2019) – A Fort Worth officer was injured on Saturday in a suspected DUI crash in Fort Worth, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred on Saturday, March 2, near West Freeway and Montgomery Street.
Police said officers were investigating a hit-and-run crash when one of their squad cars was rear-ended by a car driven by 32-year-old Motty Key.
An officer who was inside the car was taken to the hospital with complaints of head pains.
Key was uninjured in the crash. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Key reportedly had outstanding warrants from other cities.
An investigation is ongoing.
