Kenneth Collins Killed in Fritch Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 136

Fritch, Texas (April 22, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a head-on collision on Wednesday south of Fritch, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened on April 21, on State Highway 136.

DPS said a car veered into the path of a southbound semi-truck, resulting in a head-on collision.

The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire and become fully engulfed.

37-year-old Kenneth Collins was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi-truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash closed the highway, but it has since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
