James Allen Mihalakis II Killed in Sherman Car Crash on US 75 near US 82

Sherman, Texas (November 15, 2019) – A man was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic collision in Sherman, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place just after midnight, November 13, in the northbound lanes of US 75 just south of US 82.

Police said 48-year-old James Allen Mihalakis II crashed into the back of an impact attenuator truck which was diverting traffic away from the work crew.

Mihalakis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver was treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
