James Wooten Killed in Hit-and-Run on US 67 and Kelly Road in Texarkana
Texarkana, Texas – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in Texarkana, according to the Texarkana Police Department.
The deadly accident happened on May 4, on U.S. Highway 67 and Kelly Road near Wake Village.
DPS said James Wooten, 20, was riding his motorcycle when he was struck by a 2016 – 2019 dark blue Nissan Titan pickup.
Wooten was thrown into a ditch and was later pronounced dead.
The pickup truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
