Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Tomball Parkway near Greens Road

Houston, Texas (December 19, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a car on Sunday near the Willowbrook area, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around midnight, December 18, on the Tomball Parkway (Highway 249) near Greens Road.

Police said the man got out of his Honda sedan after it stalled in the main lanes of the highway. An SUV driver did not see the sedan and rear-ended it. The sedan driver, who was working on his engine, was thrown over his car and was struck by the SUV.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The SUV driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The police are investigating the crash.
