Jesse Vasquez and Brianna Vasquez Killed in Odessa Car Crash on West Loop 338 near Highway 385

Odessa, Texas (October 5, 2019) – A father and his daughter were killed in a head-on collision early Thursday morning in Odessa, according to the police.

The crash occurred on Thursday, October 3, on West Loop 338 near Highway 385.

Police said six Vasquez-Lujan family members were on the way to school together when their vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle.

Jesse Vasquez and his 14-year-old daughter Brianna were killed in the crash.

Jesse’s wife and three other children were airlifted to a Lubbock hospital with serious injuries.

The mother, Lorena, sustained collapsed lungs and broken ribs. 

Aitza, 11, was put in a back and leg brace after going through surgery. Brissa, 6, sustained a broken arm. Noheli sustained a broken arm and had to get screws in her leg.

The crash remains under investigation.
