Jessica Adams Killed in North Austin Hit-and-Run Crash on Braker Lane; Romel Diaz George Arrested

Austin, Texas (November 7, 2023) – According to the police, Romel A. Diaz George has been arrested in connection to the hit-and-run that left a pedestrian dead last month in North Austin.

The deadly accident happened just after 5:00 a.m., October 22, in the 700 block of E. Braker Lane.

Police said Diaz George was driving when he struck 37-year-old Jessica Adams and then fled the scene.

Adams was pronounced dead at the scene.

Diaz George was arrested on October 29 and has been charged with failure to stop and render aid.
