Odessa, Texas – A man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Odessa, according to the City of Odessa.

The deadly accident happened around 2:12 p.m., June 12, at the intersection of Second Street and Royalty.

The City of Odessa said a red GMC truck was traveling westbound and was attempting to turn southbound into a private drive when it was struck by a white Yamaha R3 motorcycle which was traveling eastbound on Second Street at a high rate of speed.

The motorcyclist, 22-year-old Jordan Ruscher, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
