Jorge Flores Injured in Laredo Pedestrian Crash on McPherson

Laredo, Texas (November 8, 2023) – A 35-year-old man was injured Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle in north Laredo, according to the police.

The accident happened on November 5, in the 7700 block of McPherson.

Police said Jorge Miranda Flores was running across the street, outside of a designated point of crossing, when he was struck by a Hyundai Accent, which was coming out of H-E-B.

Flores was transported to Doctors Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Hyundai driver, a 71-year-old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
