Joseph Becker ID’d as Driver Killed in San Antonio Car Crash at FM 78 and Rittiman Road

San Antonio, Texas (January 9, 2019) – The man who was killed when a driver T-boned a vehicle at an intersection in San Antonio late Saturday night has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Joseph Michael Becker, 27, died in the crash that happened at FM 78 and Rittiman Road shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 5.
Police said Rueben Justin Trejo, 18, was driving a Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed westbound on Foster Road when he T-boned a truck that had been eastbound on Rittiman Road and was trying to make a left turn onto FM 78.
The force for the crash pushed both vehicles through a steel fence and into a ditch.
Police said Becker was driving the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The three occupants of the Dodge were all transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Police said Trejo is facing a manslaughter charge.
