Joseph Whelan Killed in Denton Pedestrian Accident on Brinker Road

Denton, Texas (July 26, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a train Monday night in Denton, according to the police.

The deadly accident took place just after 7:00 p.m. July 22, on Brinker Road.

Police said 53-year-old Joseph Whelan was crossing the train tracks when he was struck by a train.

Whelan was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
