Juan Pasillas Dies in El Paso Pedestrian Crash at Sun Valley Drive and Dyer Street
El Paso, Texas (January 27, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by two vehicles in northeast El Paso early Saturday morning, according to the police.
The crash happened shortly after 1 a.m. January 26 at Sun Valley Drive and Dyer Street.
Police said Juan Manuel Pasillas, 47, was in the crosswalk heading west on Sun Valley when he was struck by a light-colored four-door sedan. The driver fled the scene after the incident.
A 2015 Dodge Challenger also struck Pasillas. The driver remained at the scene and rendered aid to the victim.
Police said Pasillas died at the scene of the crash. Two other pedestrians who were with Pasillas fled the scene.
The El Paso police are investigating the crash.
