Julie Brown Killed in Wilson County Two-Vehicle Crash at US 87 and SH 97

Wilson County, Texas (August 2, 2023) – A woman was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Wilson County, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened on July 31, at the intersection of US 87 and SH 97, north of Stockdale.

According to the report, Julie Brown, 51, of Converse, was driving a 2008 Ford Mustang when she failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
