Dominque Jackson Injured in Pyote Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 115

Pyote, Texas (November 3, 2020) – A man was killed, and another was injured in a head-on collision Sunday morning about seven miles north of Pyote, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on November 1, on State Highway 115.

DPS said Andres Garcia, 76, of Hobbs, was driving southbound on the highway when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a northbound vehicle driven by Dominque Jackson, 32, of Cypress.

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jackson was taken to a Monahans hospital and is expected to recover.

The crash remains under investigation.
