Leticia Bonilla Killed in Brazos Valley Two-Vehicle Crash at Highway 105 and FM 1774

Brazos Valley, Texas (December 7, 2022) – A woman was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Brazos Valley, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on December 5, in the area of Highway 105 and FM 1774.

DPS said 63-year-old Leticia Bonilla, of Anderson, was driving a Kia eastbound when she turned in front of an oncoming Dodge, resulting in a collision.

Bonilla was killed in the crash. Her passenger, 59-year-old Raul Bonilla of Anderson, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Dodge driver, 29-year-old Edgar Almaguer of Brenham, was treated for minor injuries.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
