Kayode Omotoso ID’d as Driver Killed in Martin County Crash on FM 829

Martin County, Texas (July 4, 2023) – Authorities have identified the driver who died in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Martin County as Kayode Emmanuel Omotoso, 47, of Midland.

The fatal crash happened on FM 829 on July 1.

According to the authorities, a 2007 Kenworth Truck with Trailer, driven by Omotoso, was heading

northbound on FM 829 when, for an unknown reason, the 2007 Kenworth Truck veered into the opposite lane and collided with a 2006 Kenworth Truck with Trailer.

Omotoso was declared dead at the scene.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
