Kenneth Sutherland and Sammy Sutherland Killed in Denison Pedestrian Accident on US 75 near FM 691

Denison, Texas (December 2, 2022) – Two people were killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in Denison, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m., December 1, on US-75 near FM 691.

Police said 75-year-old Kenneth Sutherland and 74-year-old Sammy Sutherland from Springfield, Missouri, were crossing the southbound lanes of the highway when they were hit by a vehicle.

Both Kenneth and Sammy were pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

The police are investigating the crash.
