Police Officer Hospitalized after Red Bird Car Crash on U.S. Highway 67 near Camp Wisdom Road

Red Bird, Texas (March 14, 2019) – A police officer was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident in Red Bird on Wednesday night, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened at about 10:35 p.m. March 13 on U.S. Highway 67 just north of Camp Wisdom Road.
Authorities said the police squad car collided with another vehicle on southbound US Highway 67.
The police officer was transported to a hospital by a colleague for observation. The officer’s injuries were not considered serious.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
