Kerry Hodges ID’d as 1 of 2 Killed in Clay County Crash at FM 174 and Brock Road

Clay County, Texas (August 16, 2022) – Authorities have identified one of the two people who died following a head-on collision Monday afternoon in Clay County as Kerry Hodges.

The deadly crash happened at about 1:15 p.m. Monday, August 15 near the intersection of FM 174 and Brock Road.

The DPS said a Honda collided head-on with a Jeep.

One of the parties involved, now identified as Hodges, died in the crash. His wife, who was in the vehicle was airlifted to a hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.

The occupant of the Honda also died in the crash.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
