Laquria Williams Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Aldine Mail Route

Harris County, Texas (April 9, 2019) – A 27-year-old woman died in an accident where she was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Monday night in Northeast Harris County.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the incident took place in the 4800 block of Aldine Mail Route shortly before 10 p.m. April 8.
According to the deputies, 27-year-old Laquria Williams and her sister-in-law were trying to get to a store when she tried to cross the road and was hit by an SUV.
Williams died in the collision.
The driver of the SUV reportedly stopped and got out of the vehicle to check on the victim but then went back shortly after and left the scene.
The Harris County Sheriff’s County is searching for the driver of a white or silver Chevy Trailblazer believed to have been involved in the accident. The vehicle is suspected to have a damaged headlights on the driver’s side front.
