Lillian Lucile Gayton Victim in Fatal Henderson County Two-Vehicle Crash at State Highway 19 and Farm-to-Market 2752
Henderson County, Texas (December 11, 2019) – One person was killed, and three others were injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Henderson County, according to the troopers.
The deadly crash occurred around 4:20 p.m. December 7, at the intersection of State Highway 19 and Farm-to-Market 2752.
DPS said Bryan Denman, 57, of Canton, was driving a pickup truck southbound on SH 19 and had moved into the turning lane to make a left turn on FM 2752.
Denman failed to yield the right-of-way and was struck by a northbound car driven by James Donovan Trahan, 17, of Eustace.
Lillian Lucile Gayton, 62, also of Eustace, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to an Athens hospital where she later died.
An 8-year-old passenger was taken to a Dallas hospital for treatment.
Trahan and Denman were taken to an Athens hospital in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
