Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on North Loop 1604

San Antonio, Texas (May 9, 2021) – A man in his 30s was critically injured Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:45 p.m., May 5, in the 8000 block of North Loop 1604, just before Babcock Road.

Police said the man was driving a 2009 Nissan Armanda eastbound when he failed to drive in a single lane and struck the right rear corner of an eastbound Ford F-150 that was traveling in a separate lane.

The impact caused the Nissan to drive off the highway, down an embankment before hitting a tree.

The man had to be extricated from his car and was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
