Man Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Zaragoza in El Paso

Man Critically Injured in East El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Zaragoza

El Paso, Texas (March 6, 2021) – A man was critically injured Tuesday night in a hit-and-run crash in east El Paso, according to police.

The accident happened on March 2, in the 1400 block of Zaragoza.

Police said the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was found hours later in a pile of vegetation between the street and sidewalk. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark-colored four-door car.

An investigation into the accident is underway. Anyone who might know the identity of the hit-and-run driver is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 566-8477(TIPS) or submit a tip online at crimestoppersofelpaso.org.
