Pedro Anchondo Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Airline Road in Midland County

Pedro Anchondo ID’d as Man Killed in Midland County Crash on Airline Road

Midland County, Texas (May 9, 2022) – Authorities have identified the man who was killed Saturday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County as Pedro Alejandro Anchondo, 42, of Midland.

The deadly crash took place on Airline Road, approximately 96 miles west of Midland, on May 7.

According to authorities, Leland Farley, 32, of Midlander, was driving a 2018 Dodge 2500 pickup eastbound on Airline Road when he allegedly ran a red light and struck a 2018 Ford Mustang that was making a turn onto Airline Road.

Anchondo, the driver of the Ford Mustang, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Farley was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
