Man Hit, Killed by Car on Texas 183 in Fort Worth

Man Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Texas 183 at County Line Road

Fort Worth, Texas (February 16, 2023) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in east Fort Worth, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 10:00 p.m., February 14, at Texas 183 and County Line Road.

Police said the man had been walking on the shoulder of the highway but moved onto the left lane of the highway and was struck by an eastbound passenger vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver was taken to Baylor, Scott, and White Medical Center – Grapevine as a precaution for observation.

The police are investigating the crash.
