Driver Killed in NW Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Antoine and West Gulf Bank Road

Houston, Texas (January 12, 2021) – An innocent driver was killed in a traffic accident Monday night in northwest Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m., January 11, at the intersection of Antoine and West Gulf Bank Road.

Authorities said a woman got into an argument and left a nearby apartment complex. As she was leaving, she hit a parked car and then fled the scene heading eastbound on West Gulf Bank Road. She ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Antoine.

The force of the impact ejected the innocent driver, and she was run over by her own vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The woman was also taken to the hospital and is facing charges.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
