One Killed in Abilene 5-Vehicle Crash at Abilene Christian School on Judge Ely Blvd

Abilene, Texas (October 10, 2019) – A driver was killed in a five-vehicle crash on Wednesday in Abilene, a local news source reported.

The crash happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. on October 9, in the 2500 block of Judge Ely Blvd at the parking lot of Abilene Christian School.

Police said a pickup driver was heading northbound on Judge Ely towards I-20 when he veered into the parking lot of ACS and hit two parked cars and another pickup that was also parked.

The driver was transported to Hendrick Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A woman in the other pickup truck was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
