Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 1604 near Blanco Road

San Antonio, Texas (May 16, 2021) – A man was hit and killed by a truck early Sunday morning in San Antonio’s North Side, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:17 a.m. on Loop 1604 near Blanco Road.

Police said the man was attempting to walk across the highway when he walked into the path of an eastbound white truck and was hit.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Officers said alcohol was not a factor in the crash. 

The police are investigating the crash.
