Man Injured After Car Crashes into Sherman Home on Holiday Drive and Highway 11; Woman Arrested

Sherman, Texas (October 27, 2021) – A man was injured Tuesday afternoon after a car crashed into a home in Sherman, according to the police.

The crash happened around 2:40 p.m., October 26, at the corner of S Holiday Drive and Highway 11.

Police said a woman was driving a passenger car when she crashed through the front of a home.

A man who was inside the home was struck by the car. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers said the woman was driving under the influence and had a four-year-old child with her at the time of the crash and she was arrested.

She and the child were uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
