Man Hurt in Corsicana Car Crash on Highway 45 near FM 1394
Corsicana, Texas (July 19, 2019) – A man was injured when his vehicle collided with a big rig on Wednesday afternoon in Corsicana, according to a local news source.
The incident happened at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, on Highway 45 south of FM 1394.
According to the news source, a man was driving a white 2015 Hino tow truck towing a vehicle northbound on Highway 45 when he failed to stop and crashed into a white 2018 Freightliner road safety vehicle that was protecting road workers in the northbound lane.
The driver of the tow truck was airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas for treatment of his injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The DPS is investigating the incident.
