Man Injured in Rear-End Crash on I-37 in San Antonio

Man Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 37

San Antonio, Texas (November 16, 2021) – A man was injured Saturday night in a rear-end crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m., November 13, in the 3600 block of Piedmont Avenue (Interstate 37).

Police said the man was driving a Toyota Tacoma southbound when he was rear-ended by a white truck.

The force of the impact caused the Tacoma to lose control, go down an embankment, and crash into a power line tower.

The man had to be extricated from his vehicle and was taken to the hospital with two broken legs.

The driver of the white truck fled the scene.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
