Man Killed in McAllen Pedestrian Accident at Chicago Avenue and 21 Street

McAllen, Texas (November 11, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday in McAllen, according to police.

The deadly accident happened on November 5, in the area of Chicago Avenue and 21 Street.

Police said a 26-year-old Pharr man was driving when he hit a man on the roadway.

The driver fled the scene after the accident.

The victim was killed in the crash.

The driver was later found and has been charged with an accident involving death and is currently being held on a $40,000 bond.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
