Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Beechnut

Houston, Texas (February 14, 2022) – A man was killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident in southwest Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 9500 block of Beechnut.

Police said a white Ford F-150 left the roadway, veered toward an apartment complex, and crashed through a fence. It struck a man who was walking on the sidewalk of the apartment complex.

The Ford driver fled the scene after the accident.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The Ford should be missing a front grill.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
