Terrence Vereecke Killed in Andrews County Crash on State Highway 115

Terrence Vereecke Dies Days after 2-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 115 at FM 181 in Andrews County

Andrews County, Texas (June 9, 2022) – Authorities have identified the man who died on Wednesday, three days after he was seriously injured in a traffic collision in Andrews County as Terrence Vereecke, 40.

The crash took place on State Highway 115 at Farm to Market Road 181, approximately 13 miles west of Andrews, on June 5.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Vereecke, a resident of Fort Worth, was driving a crossover northbound on FM 181 when he reportedly failed to yield the right of way at a red light.

Vereecke’s crossover then was struck by an 18-wheeler driven by Ruben Aguire-Molina, 32, of Midland.

Vereecke was airlifted to Covenant Medical Center, where he died from his injuries on Wednesday, June 8. Aguire-Molina did not suffer any injuries.

Conditions in the area were clear and dry. Vereecke was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation is underway.
