Jay Chillous Dies in Motorcycle Crash on 19th Street in Lubbock

Jay Chillous Killed in Lubbock Motorcycle Crash on 19th Street at Memphis Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (December 8, 2023) – The 29-year-old man who was seriously injured Thursday morning in a motorcycle crash in Lubbock has died, according to the police.

The crash happened around 7:31 a.m., December 7, in the 3800 block of 19th Street at Memphis Avenue.

Police said Jay Chillous was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck driven by 38-year-old Marco Nix.

Chillous was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No other information was provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
