Three Killed in La Salle County 11-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

La Salle County, Texas (January 14, 2021) – Three people were killed in an 11-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in La Salle County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 4:15 p.m., January 13, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35, between mile marker 53 and 56.

DPS said the crash involved 11 vehicles, including 18-wheelers.

A witness said the crash might have been caused by a nearby fire.

Three people were killed in the crash. Their identities were not immediately released.

Other victims were taken to San Antonio hospitals for treatment.

No other information was provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
