Man Killed in Port Arthur Pedestrian Accident on Texas 87

Port Arthur, Texas (July 22, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday morning, one mile east of Port Arthur, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 5:20 a.m., on Texas 87, north of mile marker 774, near the Taft Avenue exit.

Authorities said the man was walking westbound on the roadway when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The man was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.

An investigation is underway.
