Curtis Colvin Killed in Port Arthur Dump Truck Crash on Pleasure Island

Port Arthur, Texas (July 22, 2021) – According to the police, two people were killed on Monday after a bus and a dump truck collided in Port Arthur.

The fatal crash happened on July 19, on Highway 82 near the Causeway Bridge on Pleasure Island.

Police said a Hotard bus was returning to Pleasure Island after dropping off workers at a plant in Southwest Louisiana when it collided with a commercial dump truck.

The bus driver, Willie Allen, of Port Arthur, and the dump truck driver, Curtis Colvin, of Beaumont, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
