Matthew David Krupa Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Broadway and Gulf Mart Street

San Antonio, Texas (February 5, 2021) – According to police, a North East ISD officer was killed on Wednesday in a rollover crash in San Antonio.

The fatal crash happened just before 9:00 a.m., February 3, in the area of Broadway and Gulf Mart Street.

Police said Matthew David Krupa, 27, was driving a Jeep Wrangler northbound on Broadway approaching the intersection when a Dodge Charger began turning left onto Broadway. The Charger failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with Krupa’s Jeep.

The impact caused the Jeep to roll over onto its roof.

Krupa was killed in the crash.

The police are conducting the investigation.
