Michael Joice Identified as Pedestrian Killed in Harris County Crash on Highway 99

Harris County, Texas (May 27, 2019) – The authorities have released the identity of the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Harris County early Saturday morning.
Michael Joice, 30, died in the accident that took place on Saturday, May 25, on Highway 99 near the Telge exit ramp.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Joice was driving a vehicle eastbound on Highway 99 when his car ran out of gas.
As Joice went to seek help, an F-150 truck struck him.
Joice died at the site of the collision, deputies said.
The driver who struck Joice was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remained under investigation.
