Rider Critically Injured in Dallas Motorcycle Crash on Commerce Street near Malcolm X Boulevard

Dallas, Texas (October 2, 2022) – A motorcyclist was critically injured early Saturday morning in a crash in Deep Ellum, Dallas, according to the authorities.

The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m., October 1, on Commerce Street, near Malcolm X Boulevard.

Authorities said a motorcycle was speeding when they ran a red light and crashed into a car.

The impact ejected the rider, and they were taken to Baylor Medical Center Dallas in critical condition.

The car driver was uninjured in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
