37-Year-Old Reymundo Noe Garcia Killed in George West Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 59

George West, Texas (February 4, 2020) – A man was killed, and another was injured in a head-on collision on Monday, west of George West, according to the troopers.

The deadly collision took place on Monday, February 3, on U.S. Highway 59.

Troopers said Reymundo Noe Garcia, 37, of Hockley, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet SUV westbound on the highway when he crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a 2005 International cement truck.

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the cement truck was airlifted to Spohn Shoreline Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
