Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Leon Valley Accident at Bandera and Wurzbach Roads
Leon Valley, Texas (March 11, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized early Sunday morning following a traffic collision at an intersection in Leon Valley, authorities said.
The wreck happened just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday, March 10 at the intersection of Bandera and Wurzbach roads on the city’s Northwest Side.
Police said a man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Bandera Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an SUV that was heading southbound on Wurzbach Road. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike after the impact.
The man sustained multiple injuries and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. The occupants of the SUV were treated at the scene of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
