Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with 3 Vehicles on Interstate 10 in Houston

Motorcyclist Killed in Houston Crash on Interstate 10 Katy Freeway

Houston, Texas (July 30, 2023) – A motorcyclist died after he was struck by three vehicles early Saturday morning in Houston, according to authorities.

The deadly crash happened at about 3:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, in the westbound main lanes of the Interstate 10 Katy Freeway.

Authorities said the man was fixing his broken motorcycle when a wrecker driver hit him. Two other vehicles also ran over him.

The motorcyclist died in the crash.

The wrecker driver stopped at the scene. Two other drivers involved in the crash fled the scene, but one was tracked down after taking pictures of the man’s body with his cell phone. He is facing a charge of failure to stop and render aid.

The crash remains under investigation.
