Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Lubbock Crash at 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (September 21, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a pickup truck on Tuesday night at a Lubbock intersection, according to the Lubbock Police Department.

The wreck happened at around 8:39 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, in the area of 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue.

Lubbock police said a motorcycle and pickup truck collided in the intersection under unclear circumstances.

The motorcyclist was transported to the University Medical Center with serious injuries.

No further details were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
