Police Officer Injured in Huntsville Two-Vehicle Crash near 11th Street and Normal Park

Huntsville, Texas (August 24, 2021) – A police officer was injured on Monday in a two-vehicle crash while responding to a bank robbery in Huntsville, according to the police.

The crash happened on August 23, near the intersection of 11th Street and Normal Park.

Police said the Huntsville police officer was responding to a robbery at First Financial Bank, where the suspect took off from the business.

As the officer was responding, their police cruiser collided with a civilian’s vehicle.

The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The robbery suspect, Telvin Tubbs, 27, of Huntsville, was arrested near the intersection.

An investigation is underway.
