61-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on West Houston Center Boulevard

Houston, Texas – A 61-year-old woman was killed Monday evening in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:30 p.m., February 12, in the 12800 block of West Houston Center Boulevard.

Police said a blue Toyota Sienna was traveling northbound when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the street and struck the woman who was standing on a sidewalk.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The male driver, 59, and his female passenger, 57, were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver did not show signs of intoxication. The passenger stated the driver appeared to suffer a medical issue at the time of the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
