One Injured in Officer-Involved Crash at Overton Ridge and Bryant Irvin in Fort Worth

One Injured in Fort Worth Two-Vehicle Crash at Overton Ridge and Bryant Irvin 

Fort Worth, Texas (June 23, 2022) – One person was injured Wednesday night in a T-bone crash involving a Fort Worth police officer in Fort Worth, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m., June 22, at the intersection of Overton Ridge and Bryant Irvin.

Authorities said the officer was responding to a call to another officer needing help and was heading westbound with lights and sirens on. He slowed at the intersection to check traffic and then drove across the intersection when his vehicle was hit by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Bryant Irvin.

The driver who hit the officer’s vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
