One Killed, Another Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 740 in Forney

One Killed and One Seriously Injured in Forney Vehicle Crash on FM 740 

Forney, Texas (February 11, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision Monday afternoon in Forney, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported around 4:39 p.m. February 10, on Farm-to-Market (FM) 740, between Glenn Cove and Markout Central.

According to the report, vehicles collided head-on, for unknown reasons, on the highway.

DPS said one person was trapped in one of the vehicles and had to be extricated. That person was taken to Baylor University Medical Center with serious injuries.

One other person was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
