One Killed in Car Crash on I-35 in Austin

One Killed in Austin Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 

Austin, Texas (April 12, 2021) – One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Austin, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 2:00 a.m., April 11, on north Interstate 35, just north of the Braker Lane exit.

Officials said three vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

Two people were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Another person refused treatment.

The crash closed north Interstate 35, and motorists were diverted off at the Braker Lane exit.

An investigation is underway.
